Midleton’s Farnham Wins Munster Moment Of The Month

Louis Farnham’s try for Midleton RFC against Tullamore RFC in the All Ireland League has been voted Munster’s Moment of the Month for January.

The intercept try topped the poll with 56% of the votes with John Hurley’s try for Crescent College in the Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Senior Cup in second place and Keith Earls’ performance for Munster against Racing 92 in third spot.

Everyone that voted was due to enter a draw for two tickets to Munster v Scarlets at Thomond Park on Saturday, March 24. Unfortunately we were unable to select a winner due to a technical fault.

If you wish to re-enter the draw, email competitions@munsterrugby.ie with Moment of the Month in the subject line and we will select a winner at random from the email entries.

View all three nominees below.

Each month throughout the season, we give supporters the opportunity to vote for your Munster Moment of the Month.

Our clubs, schools and supporters are all encouraged to enter their favourite rugby moment, whether it be on or off the pitch, into our Moment of the Month competition. It may be a fantastic team or individual try, a special moment from the training ground, or a memorable highlight from a rugby event.

We then select the three best moments and put it out to a public vote. You can also win prizes simply by voting for your favourite!

You don’t need a state-of-the-art camera, your video can be filmed on a decent camera phone.

The video needs to be shot in landscape format and the original file must be sent via wetransfer to andrewphayer@munsterrugby.ie.
