Moment 1: Liam Coombes try for Munster A/Development side v Wild Titans
This superb try was scored by Liam Coombes for the Munster A/Development side’s friendly win over Germany’s Wild Titans on the UL 4G pitch.
A Jack Stafford dummy and break started off the move well inside the Munster half with Coombes showing outstanding pace to score in the left corner after a superb kick behind the defence from Alan Tynan.
Moment 2: Darragh O’Callaghan try for PBC v Ardscoil Rís
Holders PBC advanced to the semi-finals of the Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Senior Cup following a quarter-final win over Ardscoil Rís at Irish Independent Park with Darragh O’Callaghan scoring the pick of the tries.
It was all about the PBC back row as flanker Alex Kendellen made the initial break after collecting an Ardscoil clearance before offloading for no.8 David Hyland to streak away and O’Callaghan was on his shoulder to take the pass and score under the posts
Moment 3: Andrew Hogan try for Glenstal Abbey v Bandon Grammar
This outstanding try was the highlight of Glenstal Abbey’s Clayton Hotels Munster Schools Senior Cup quarter-final win over Bandon Grammar at the Mardyke.
Andrew Hogan’s try was a peach as he timed his jump perfectly to claim Ben Healy’s crossfield kick before stepping past three defenders to score under the posts.
Munster Moment of the Month
Each month throughout the season, we give supporters the opportunity to vote for your Munster Moment of the Month.
Our clubs, schools and supporters are all encouraged to enter their favourite rugby moment, whether it be on or off the pitch, into our Moment of the Month competition. It may be a fantastic team or individual try, a special moment from the training ground, or a memorable highlight from a rugby event.
We then select the three best moments and put it out to a public vote. You can also win tickets and hospitality passes simply by voting for your favourite!
Submitting your Moment of the Month
You don’t need a state-of-the-art camera, your video can be filmed on a decent camera phone.
