The sponsorship handover is all in aid of raising awareness for the charity and much needed funds for its CPR 4 Schools training programme.
Sudden cardiac death claims 5,000 lives in Ireland every year and CPR training can play an important role in providing vital first responder intervention. Supporters can text to donate €4, the price of providing one secondary school student with lifesaving CPR skills. Every €4 donated will be matched by Bank of Ireland up to €40,000.
