Munster's Champions Cup fixtures will be released at noon tomorrow.

Munster’s Champions Cup fixtures for rounds 1-6 will be confirmed at noon tomorrow (Friday, August 17).

Johann van Graan’s side were drawn in Pool 2 of the competition alongside French champions Castres Olympique and English heavyweights Exeter Chiefs and Gloucester.

While Castres and Gloucester are familiar opponents, it will be the first time Munster and Exeter face off in a competitive game with the Devon club visiting Irish Independent Park in the Kearys Renault Series 2018 on Friday, August 24 (7.30pm).

Munster kick off the Kearys Renault Series 2018 at Irish Independent Park tomorrow night as Declan Kidney’s London Irish visit Cork with the Munster squad to be named later today.

The game will see Munster play on the new modified 3G pitch at Irish Independent Park for the first time with the surface installed by Tralee-based company PST Sport over the summer.

The bedding-in process of the new pitch is now underway with two games to be played at the venue in the Kearys Renault Series 2018 over the next 10 days.
