Arno Botha impressed on his Munster debut.

Munster made an encouraging start to the Guinness PRO14 campaign with a 38-0 victory over the Cheetahs at Thomond Park on Saturday,

Rory Scannell, Dave Kilcoyne, Tommy O’Donnell, JJ Hanrahan, Dave O’Callaghan and Man of the Match Darren Sweetnam touched down in the win with Hanrahan kicking four conversions.

Guinness PRO14 Round 1 Round-Up

Arno Botha, Joey Carbery, Gavin Coombes, Shane Daly and Mike Haley all made their Munster PRO14 debuts.
The returning Neil Cronin made his first start in the PRO14 after last featuring off the bench in 2015.
Darren Sweetnam was awarded the man of the match.
Two Greencore Academy players featured in the squad – Shane Daly and Gavin Coombes.
Stephen Archer returned from a pec injury he sustained against Edinburgh in early May.
