Munster’s first Interpro clash of the season takes place next week in Thomond Park with Ulster visiting Limerick in the Guinness PRO14 on Saturday, September 29 (7.35pm).

Munster and Ulster have served up some classic encounters over the years and next week’s tie is set to be another cracker with both sides making good starts to the campaign.

Two big home wins and an away loss to early season pacesetters Glasgow leaves Munster second in Conference A ahead of Friday night’s trip to face Cardiff Blues.

Ulster have made a thrilling start to the season. The province snatched two last-gasp home victories over Scarlets and Edinburgh in the opening two weeks. A successful start to their two-week tour of South Africa saw Ulster record a third win over the Southern Kings last weekend and they top Conference B with a 100% record.
