European rugby returns to Thomond Park shortly as Munster host Gloucester in the Heineken Champions Cup on Saturday, October 20 (1pm) with tickets on sale now.

The Premiership side are top quality opposition led by Director of Rugby and former Ireland international David Humphreys and Head Coach Johann Ackermann, a former Springbok.

A bright start to their domestic campaign has seen Gloucester establish themselves in the top four of the Premiership with in-form out-half Danny Cipriani voted the league’s Player of the Month for September.

The Gloucester squad also includes a former Munster man with Gerbrandt Grobler scoring one try in four appearances since making the move from Limerick to Gloucester over the summer.

Johann van Graan’s Munster side also face French champions Castres Olympique and Premiership leaders Exeter Chiefs in Pool 2 of the competition.

The first game will see Munster travel to face Exeter at Sandy Park next Saturday, October 13, at 3.15pm.

Munster’s second game will see Gloucester visit Thomond Park on Saturday, October 20, for a 1pm kick-off. Buy Tickets.

The December double-header against Castres Olympique will see Munster host the French champions at Thomond Park on Sunday, December 9, at 1pm. Early Bird Tickets are available here.

The return fixture at the Stade Pierre Fabre on Saturday, December 15, will have a local kick-off time of 6.30pm (5.30pm Irish time).

Munster travel to face Gloucester at Kinsgsholm in the penultimate Pool game on Friday, January 11, with a 7.45pm kick-off time.

The final Pool game will see Munster host Exeter Chiefs at Thomond Park on Saturday, January 19, with a 5.30pm start. Early Bird Tickets are available here.
