The Ireland U20s played their annual Christmas fixtures against Leinster and Munster A/Development selections last month with a number of young Munster players impressing for both Munster and Ireland.

The challenge matches form part of the Ireland U20s’ preparations for the upcoming 6 Nations Championship with both home games – against England and France – to be played at Irish Independent Park. See full fixture details and buy tickets here.

Ireland produced a high-quality second half performance to claim a 38-17 win over a Leinster Development XV at Donnybrook in their opening fixture two weeks ago.

The second game saw the Ireland U20s earn another victory against a Munster A/Development selection thanks to a 24-20 win at Irish Independent Park.

Luke Clohessy and Alan Tynan touched down for Munster as Ben Healy kicked two conversions and two penalties.

UCC’s John Hodnett scored a try for Ireland with Jake Flannery kicking a conversion.
