For the second time this season Thomond Park has sold out two weeks in advance of the fixture, with Munster’s Round 6 Champions Cup clash against Exeter Chiefs set for a capacity crowd of 26,267 on Saturday, January 19.

Following on from the Leinster sell-out in record time, demand for Munster’s crucial European encounter spiked, and the final tickets were snapped up over the weekend.

Pool 2 of the Champions Cup has proven the tightest in the competition this season with all four teams still in contention for a quarter-final place.

The increased capacity includes the additional seating installed on the goal-line at both ends of the ground.

The latest sell-out is the fourth of the season for the province across Irish Independent Park and Thomond Park.
