The Munster Rugby squad trained at the High Performance Centre in Limerick today ahead of Saturday’s Guinness PRO14 clash against Scarlets at Parc y Scarlets (5pm).

The Munster Rugby Medical Department have released an injury update following Friday night’s game against Ospreys.

Ciaran Parker sustained a hamstring injury and will be managed by the medical department.

Chris Cloete presented with concussive symptoms post-match and will enter the graded return to play protocols.

Joey Carbery sustained a hamstring injury at Ireland training last week and will continue his rehabilitation in Ireland camp.

The following are progressing with rehabilitation: Brian Scott (foot), James Cronin (leg), Dave O’Callaghan (foot), Tommy O’Donnell (shoulder), CJ Stander (cheek), Sammy Arnold (leg).

Munster Academy Players In Ireland U20s Action

Munster Academy players Craig Casey, Ben Healy, Jonathan Wren and Josh Wycherley helped Ireland make it three wins from three against Italy in the Six Nations on Friday. Fellow Munster men Jake Flannery, John Hodnett and Billy Scannell also played their part with Healy and Scannell making their Six Nations debuts as Casey scored two tries in the victory.

Munster Players In Club Action

Seán French scored a hat-trick of tries for Cork Constitution with Duncan Williams also starting their 27-22 defeat to UCD.

Thomas Ahern featured for Shannon in their 27-24 loss to Dublin University.

Alan Tynan and Keynan Knox helped Young Munster to a 12-10 win over Garryowen with Liam Coombes, Diarmuid Barron and Mike Sherry lining out for the Light Blues.

James McCarthy was in action for UL Bohemians in their away defeat to Queen’s University.
