The Munster squad trained at the High Performance Centre in UL today as preparations began for Saturday afternoon’s Champions Cup quarter-final against Edinburgh at Murrayfield (12.45pm).

The clash will be a record 18th Champions Cup quarter-final for the province.

Munster’s full Ireland contingent have now returned to the squad ahead of Saturday’s knockout clash in Murrayfield.

Following the game against Zebre on Saturday night there were no new injury concerns.

Joey Carbery and Ciaran Parker will be reintegrated to team training this week as they complete their rehab from respective hamstring injuries.

The following are progressing with rehabilitation: Brian Scott (foot), James Cronin (leg) and Tommy O’Donnell (shoulder).

Munster Players In All Ireland League Action

Academy back-row forward Jack O’Sullivan made his first start at number 8 since his cruciate knee ligament injury last May as UCC defeated Young Munster 13-10 at the weekend.

Senior player Calvin Nash featured for Young Munster along with Academy players Alan Tynan, Keynan Knox and Gavin Coombes.

Jack Stafford and Eoghan Clarke were among the Shannon side that fell to a 18-12 loss against Terenure College at Thomond Park.

Alex McHenry was a try-scorer for Cork Constitution against Dublin University but the Students earned a 37-13 win at College Park.

Sean O’Connor and Jack Daly were in action for Garryowen at Dooradoyle as they were beaten 29-12 by Clontarf.
