Munster take on Connacht in a must-win Guinness PRO14 Interpro derby at Thomond Park on Saturday night (7.35pm).

Tickets are available here and from the Munster Rugby Ticket Offices in Thomond Park and Irish Independent Park.

On match day, you can buy tickets at the stadium from 1.35pm from the Ticketmaster van in the Fanzone which is located on the East side of the ground, as you approach the stadium from Limerick city centre.

Entertainment

Munster’s outstanding schools players of 2019 have been selected and the Irish Independent Munster Schools Senior XV will be presented to the crowd on the pitch at half-time.

We are delighted to welcome back the Spin South West School Choir competition winners Thomond Primary School to Thomond Park. They got a huge reaction at their last appearance in Thomond Park in March, and they’ll be performing before the game.

Newcastle West’s own Brian Hartnett will perform ‘Stand Up and Fight’ just before kick-off and the MRSC Guard of Honour will be present to welcome teams onto the pitch.

At half-time it’s an all-girls takeover as the U10s of Richmond RFC and Fethard & District RFC play alongside the U12s of Nenagh Ormond RFC and Kanturk RFC.

Don’t forget to enter our #ThomondParkSelfie competition for the chance to win return flights to a surprise destination for two from Shannon Airport. All you have to do is post a selfie from Thomond Park on match day, tag @MunsterRugby and include #ThomondParkSelfie. We will announce the lucky winner at half-time all with thanks to Munster Rugby Airport Partner, Shannon Airport.

Fanzone

Open from 5.30pm, our covered Pavilion in the Fanzone is a great pre-match meeting point, and you can soak up the atmosphere in the Guinness Dug Out Bar which also opens from 5.30pm.

Anyone for golf? On July 4-7, Lahinch Golf Club hosts the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open. Try your hand at putting, enter a competition to win tickets to the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open and get your photo taken with the Irish Open trophy from 5.35pm.

Come and meet the players in the Fanzone from 6.35pm. There will be lots to enjoy in the Fanzone including the Gaming Zone with GameMachine Ireland in the Bank of Ireland Family Funzone which will be open for our younger supporters offering free 15 minute gaming sessions with thanks to Bank of Ireland.

Spin South West SPINIs will be on location and our mascot Oscar is looking forward to meeting our younger supporters too.

The Munster Rugby Museum Experience is open from 5.30pm right up to kick-off.

The Life Style Sports will be open at the Stadium from 5.35pm you have a choice of 3 locations; the main store and mobile unit in the East Stand and the mobile unit at the West Stand.

Entering The Stadium

Gates open at 6.05pm with all bars and food outlets inside the ground open at the same time. Contactless payments are available at all stadium bars and at selected food outlets in Thomond Park for amounts up to €30.

Please note:

  • No one will be permitted to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink/ water containers on entering the stadium.
  • Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations
  • There will be stewards and security onsite to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.

The 302 bus service from Henry Street runs every half hour from 5.30pm and has a drop-off at Thomond Park.
