Knockout rugby returns to Thomond Park on Saturday afternoon as Munster face in-form Benetton Rugby in a Guinness PRO14 quarter-final (3pm).

Kids go free for the clash – tickets are available from just €25 and you can also order two free Junior tickets with each ticket purchased!

Buy online here or from the Munster Rugby Ticket Offices in Thomond Park and Irish Independent Park.

On match day, you can buy tickets at the stadium from 9am in the Ticket Office which is located on the East side of the ground as you approach the stadium from Limerick city centre.

Gates open at 1.30pm with the FanZone open at 1pm.

Entertainment

The MRSC Choir are back to perform before the game, and will be joined by Brian Hartnett for Stand Up and Fight just before kick-off. The MRSC Guard of Honour will be present to welcome teams onto the pitch.

At half-time, we welcome the U11s of Highfield RFC and Kanturk RFC.

Don’t forget to enter our #ThomondParkSelfie competition for the chance to win return flights to a surprise destination for two from Shannon Airport. All you have to do is post a selfie from Thomond Park on match day and include #ThomondParkSelfie. We will announce the lucky winner at half-time all with thanks to Munster Rugby Airport Partner, Shannon Airport.

FanZone

Open from 1pm our covered Pavilion in the Fanzone is a great pre-match meeting point, and you can soak up the atmosphere in the Guinness Dug Out Bar which also opens from 1pm. Come and meet the players in the Fanzone from 2pm. The Spin South West SPINIs will be meeting fans in the fanzone and Munster’s mascot Oscar will be saying hello to our younger supporters.

The Munster Rugby Museum Experience is open from 1pm right up to kick-off.

The Life Style Sports stores will be open at the Stadium from 1pm you have a choice of 3 locations; the main store and mobile unit in the East Stand and the mobile unit at the West Stand.

Gates open at 1.30pm with all bars and food outlets inside the ground open at the same time. Contactless payments are available at all stadium bars and at selected food outlets in Thomond Park for amounts up to €30.

Please note:

  • No one will be permitted to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink/ water containers on entering the stadium.
  • Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations
  • There will be stewards and security on-site to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.

The 302 bus service from Henry Street runs every half hour from 1pm and has a drop-off at Thomond Park. Full bus service details see www.buseireann.ie. Please note there is no parking in the vicinity of Thomond Park.
