Four Academy players were in All Ireland League action last weekend.

Seán French helped Cork Constitution to a 28-25 win over Clontarf and John Hodnett featured for UCC as they swept past Ballynahinch on a 39-6 scoreline.

On the injury front, Jake Flannery is rehabilitating his shoulder after undergoing surgery following the summer’s U20 World Championship.

Shorter-term absentees Thomas Ahern, Eoghan Clarke, James French, Eoin O’Connor, Paddy Kelly, Jonathan Wren and Josh Wycherley are expected to be back in action in the coming weeks.
