Squad Update | Munster Begin Preparations For Kings

Darren Sweetnam is being reintroduced to training this week.
The Munster squad returned to training on Monday ahead of the Guinness PRO14 clash against Southern Kings at Irish Independent Park on Valentine’s Day (7.35pm).

There is positive news on the injury front. Tommy O’Donnell (hamstring) and Darren Sweetnam (hamstring) are being reintroduced to training this week and Ciaran Parker (calf) has returned to full training.
Continuing to rehab: Jean Kleyn (neck), Rhys Marshall (knee), Joey Carbery (wrist), Tadhg Beirne (ankle), Brian Scott (foot), Tyler Bleyendaal (neck).

Waterford lock Eoin O’Connor is a product of Waterpark RFC and joined the Greencore Munster Rugby Academy last summer.
O’Connor was recently named in the Ireland U20s squad for the 2020 6 Nations Championship however he will not play any part in the campaign after sustaining a knee injury in training.
