There is plenty going on across Munster Rugby this week, scroll down for everything that’s happening over the next seven days.

It will be an unusual training week for the Munster squad with training beginning on Wednesday ahead of our first Monday night fixture in the Guinness PRO14 next week.

The team will be preparing for a top-of-the-table Conference B clash against Cardiff Blues at Thomond Park with an 8.15pm kick-off next Monday.

The weekly press conference will be taking place later than usual this week with one of our coaches and two squad members speaking to the media on Thursday.

Monday

We took a look back at the action from the inaugural Irish Rugby 7s Tournament with the Munster side finishing in third place.

Watch two of the best tries from the day on our Twitter and Instagram channels. Recent signing Matt Gallagher scored after a great one-two with Liam Coombes and Academy man Jack Crowley scored after brilliant individual skill by Jack O’Sullivan.

Tuesday

We introduce Greencore Munster Rugby Academy lock Paddy Kelly in the latest episode of our ‘Introducing The Academy’ videos.

We take a look back at the induction day for this season’s Club & Community Rugby Officers that took place earlier this month.

There’s also a look ahead to the next New Referees Course that is being held on Saturday, October 31.

We will also be awaiting details of the Ireland Men’s and Women’s teams to face Italy in their rearranged 6 Nations games at the weekend with the teams to be confirmed midweek.

Wednesday

The squad return to training at the HPC with Craig Casey and Fineen Wycherley back with the province having trained with the Ireland senior squad last week.

We will have the latest news on the injury front in the Squad Update and all of the latest from the Munster camp.

Thursday

Training continues for the Munster squad and one of our coaches and two players will be speaking to the media remotely from the HPC.

A photographer from Inpho will be capturing pics at training. We will have a gallery on munsterrugby.ie and the best pics on our social media channels.

Our new adidas Alternate jersey is set to be unveiled at Life Style Sports stores across the province and online for next-day delivery across the world.

Supporters who pre-ordered the new jersey are also set to receive it on Thursday. You can get yours here.

Friday

A down day for the squad as we preview Monday’s Cardiff Blues clash. Find out all you need to know on munsterrugby.ie as we look to start the season with three wins in a row.

We also preview the match programme, which will be available to download for free once again on matchday.

You can still download the Munster v Edinburgh programme, just select the option to ‘Read’ when you click on the below.

Saturday

The squad return to training at the HPC and all eyes will be on the double-header of 6 Nations action as Ireland Men face Italy at the Aviva Stadium at 3.30pm. Ireland Women take on their Italian counterparts in Donnybrook at 6.30pm.

Munster Women’s player Dorothy Wall will be hoping to feature for Ireland against Italy on Saturday evening.

Sunday

The Munster team will go through the captain’s run ahead of the following night’s Guinness PRO14 game against Cardiff Blues.

The team announcement will be live on munsterrugby.ie at noon.

Johann van Graan’s side have started the season with two wins from two.
