Did you know?
There have been 23 previous Monday fixtures in the history of the Guinness PRO14 but all were played over the Christmas and New Year period.
Preview
Conference B table toppers Cardiff come to Thomond Park with two wins from two beating Zebre and Connacht in the opening rounds.
Munster also enter the contest with two late wins over Scarlets and Edinburgh thanks to the boot of Academy out-half Ben Healy and a never-say-die attitude.
Cardiff’s defence has been excellent since the start of the new season, conceding only one try in the last two games.
With only one point separating the teams in the table, the winner of this game will establish a lead at the top of Conference B.
