Preview

Both Munster and Leinster are undefeated and have enjoyed 100% records entering Saturday’s encounter at Thomond Park. Leinster are in second in Conference A of the PRO14 although they have a game in hand against Ulster who are in first. Munster lead the way in Conference B with 32 points.

Munster’s last victory against Leo Cullen’s side came in this fixture two years ago when Johann van Graan’s side secured a 26-17 victory thanks to tries from Chris Cloete and Keith Earls and 14 points from the boot of Joey Carbery. Recently retired Tyler Bleyendaal also notched a conversion in that game.

The most recent meeting between the sides was last season’s PRO14 semi-final as Munster fell to a 13-3 defeat in a tight game.

The visitors will be without Johnny Sexton and Garry Ringrose who are unavailable due to injury.
