Munster face Scarlets this weekend with the Welsh side eager to clinch their place in next season’s Champions Cup as Johann van Graan’s side look to make it five wins in-a-row.
Last week’s win over Connacht saw Munster qualify for the Guinness PRO14 final and the province will be eager to maintain their good run of form in the last two games of the regular season as Scarlets and Benetton visit Thomond Park over the next two Friday nights.

Munster have not lost to Welsh opposition at home in more than four years. Scarlets were the last Welsh side to win at Thomond Park back in February 2017.

Munster will be hoping to make in five wins in a row at Thomond Park in their penultimate game of the Guinness PRO14 regular season and finish the league campaign strongly ahead of this month’s final against Leinster.
With 14 wins in 16 games this season, the province have a habit of coming out on top in close games and will be looking to continue that run on Friday night.
It was the opening game of the season against Scarlets at the beginning of October that saw Munster produce their first comeback of the campaign.
Leigh Halfpenny kicked nine penalties for Scarlets but 14-man Munster battled back to win the game in the final play.
Academy out-half Ben Healy kicked a fantastic 50-metre penalty to clinch victory after an outstanding final 12 minutes that saw Chris Farrell and Kevin O’Byrne score tries with Healy landing both conversions and the match-winning penalty.
Scarlets go into the game eager to cement their place in the top three of Conference B and secure Champions Cup rugby for next season.
The Welsh side secured a hugely important 27-25 victory in Edinburgh last week to move eight points clear of third-placed Cardiff with two games remaining.
