There are two games coming up this Saturday as the Munster Men’s and Women’s sides are both in action.

The only tickets available to purchase are for the Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship clash between Munster and Connacht at Musgrave Park (7.30pm).

Tickets for the game are available to purchase here. To attend, you must purchase a ticket online in advance of the fixture. There will be no tickets available at the gate on the day.

A Munster Challenge Match takes place in Thomond Park at 3pm with two Munster XVs going head-to-head in a 60-minute encounter. There will be no live stream of the Challenge Match. See full details of the game here.

Munster v Connacht – Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship

Saturday, September 4

Musgrave Park, 7.30pm

Introduction

We are looking forward to welcoming you back to Musgrave Park for Munster v Connacht in the Vodafone Women’s Interprovincial Championship. To help protect you and your fellow supporters, we ask that you comply with all protocols in relation to COVID spectator safety while attending matches at Musgrave Park.

Tickets

Tickets are available to purchase here. To attend, you must purchase a ticket online in advance of the fixture. There will be no tickets available at the gate on the day.

Tickets for the event have been issued in e-format only, to minimise the touch points in operation in the stadium on the day.

Tickets can be scanned from your mobile device on matchday. Tickets are issued on a general access basis i.e. not for any specific area in the ground.

In order to facilitate ease of access and remove additional touch points, turnstiles will not be in operation. Supporters will be asked to enter the stadium via the Dolphin Entrance on Pearse Road.

The access area will be manned by ticketing staff who will use a scanner to scan your device on match day.

Gates will open at 6.30pm (one hour before kick-off) to facilitate access to the stadium.

Masks

All supporters entering the stadium must wear a mask for the duration of their visit, including while in your seat/terrace at Musgrave Park Stadium (except while eating and drinking). Supporters under 13 years of age are not required to wear a mask.

Please note the following:

  • Please do not attend the stadium if you are feeling unwell or experiencing any of the following symptoms: Cough, Fever, High Temperature, Sore Throat, Breathlessness, Loss/Change of sense of smell/taste or any Flu like symptoms.
  • No one will be permitted to enter the stadium with alcohol or glass and customers will be requested to remove the lids of any soft drink/ water containers on entering the stadium.
  • Please do not enter the pitch area at any time and adhere to the stadium ground regulations
  • There will be stewards and security onsite to assist you with your enquiries on the day, and to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely, so please respect their requests.

Cleaning & Hand Sanitising Protocols

Additional cleaning and sanitising measures have been employed across the stadium. You will find hand sanitisers located at the entry points and throughout the stadium. Please sanitise your hands before entry and regularly while in the stadium.

Seating, Social Distancing & Signage

Please adhere to social distancing while in the stadium as well as when entering and exiting. Please avoid contact with others who are not in your social bubbles.

Signage will be in place throughout the stadium to remind you of these measures.

HSE Contact Tracing App

Munster Rugby supports the HSE Covid Tracker app and we ask that you download this app to your device and use it while attending the stadium.

Food Concessions & Bars

A food concession will be open at the Dolphin end of the Stand. Bars will not be open for this fixture.

Meeting The Players

Although our squad love to interact with supporters, unfortunately due to COVID Guidelines, they will not be permitted to sign autographs or take selfies. We appreciate your understanding in relation to this.

Staff Clearance & Checks

To ensure the safety of everyone in the stadium, all staff working at the stadium on match day will have completed an IRFU approved education module along with a medical screening. Staff will also undertake temperature checks before being admitted to work on match day.

All players and staff involved with the match teams will operate in a designated in the high-performance areas of the stadium. Only those who have been specifically authorised will be admitted to the designated high-performance areas.

Stadium Exit

At the end of the game, the gates on Tramore Road and Pearse Road will be open for exit. Please use your closest gate to exit the ground. We ask that all supporters take their time and continue to follow social distancing protocols when departing the stadium.

Munster Challenge Match

Thomond Park, 3pm

Introduction

We are looking forward to welcoming you back to Thomond Park Stadium. To help protect you and your fellow supporters, we ask that you comply with all protocols in relation to COVID spectator safety while attending matches at Thomond Park Stadium.

Tickets

Tickets for the event have been issued in e-format only, to minimise the touch points in operation in the stadium on the day.

Tickets can be scanned from your mobile device on matchday.

In order to facilitate ease of access and remove additional touch points, turnstiles will not be in operation. Supporters will be asked to enter the stadium via a designated door. The door number will be displayed on your match ticket.

The access door will be manned by a security officer who will use a scanner to scan your device on match day.

Gates will open at 2pm (one hour before kick-off) to facilitate access to the stadium.

The seating plan has been organised to ensure social distancing protocols can be followed within the Stadium. Your designated seats will be identified on your match tickets. Please remain in your seats unless exiting or using amenities.

Signage will be in place throughout the stadium to remind you of these measures. We would like to thank our partners Laya Healthcare for assisting us with this.
