An entertaining Munster Challenge Match took place on Saturday afternoon with plenty of attacking rugby in the sun as we welcomed supporters back to Thomond Park.

The 60-minute training match was an enjoyable watch for the Munster supporters who attended with a 38-21 final scoreline in favour of Munster Grey.

The clash saw Neil Cronin make a welcome return to action from a long-term knee injury.

We would like to thank everyone who came out to watch the squad on Saturday, it has been far too long since we’ve heard our supporters cheering on the team and it was great to see so many familiar faces.

Watch some of the tries below and scroll to the bottom of the page to hear from Head Coach Johann van Graan and scrum-half Paddy Patterson.

Next up is an away pre-season clash with Exeter at Sandy Park on Saturday (3pm).
