The Munster squad started their training week at the HPC in UL on Monday ahead of the province’s round two United Rugby Championship clash against DHL Stormers at Thomond Park on Saturday (7.35pm).

Tickets for the game are available here. Please note, ticket sales are online-only and will be available right up to kick-off.

There are no fresh injury concerns to report following Saturday’s bonus-point win over Cell C Sharks at Thomond Park. Read more about the game and watch match highlights here.

There is good news for John Hodnett and Kevin O’Byrne as they both return to training this week.

An achilles tendon injury has ruled Hodnett out of action since last November with O’Byrne missing the start of the season due to a leg injury.

James French sustained a concussion in action for the Munster Development XV against Leinster on Friday and will enter the return to play protocols under the supervision of the medical department. Read a report from that game here.

Liam O’Connor (neck) is unavailable this week but is in line to make a return to training shortly.

Roman Salanoa (knee) is continuing to rehab and will be unavailable for the coming weeks.

In Greencore Munster Rugby Academy news, winger Conor Phillips scored two tries for the Ireland Sevens team in Edmonton, Canada at the weekend.

The previous weekend saw Phillips notch four tries on his World Series debut in Vancouver.

Continuing to rehab: Roman Salanoa (knee), Liam O’Connor (neck), Chris Farrell (abdomen), Jason Jenkins (shoulder).
