Preview

After picking up two losing bonus points on the two-game tour to South Africa, Munster host Benetton on Friday night keen to get back to winning ways as we enter the business end of the season.

The province have just five games left in the regular season as the race for the top eight heats up. Along with the Benetton clash, Munster will face Leinster (H), Ulster (A), Cardiff (H) and Leinster (A) before the end of the season with every point vital as we look to earn a URC quarter-final.

Munster’s only defeat in their last fourteen fixtures in Cork was an 18-16 loss to Edinburgh in November 2019 with the province on a nine-game winning streak at home.

Craig Casey, Gavin Coombes and Jeremy Loughman are all vying for selection having returned from international duty this week with Jason Jenkins also available after recovering from an abdomen injury.
