Munster Rugby are pleased to announce a three-year Motor Partnership with Kearys Motor Group ahead of the 2022/23 season.

To mark this announcement, Brendan Keary, CEO, Kearys Motor Group was joined by Dave Kavanagh, Head of Commercial and Marketing, Munster Rugby and players Simon Zebo, Gavin Coombes and Alex Kendellen, who are all Kearys’ Brand Ambassadors.

In keeping with Munster Rugby’s sustainability objectives, Kearys have sponsored a fleet of 10 plug-in hybrid vehicles for Munster Rugby players and Development Staff, with a view to changing them to fully electric vehicles (EVs) early in 2023.

Brendan Keary, CEO, Kearys Motor Group said: “We are delighted to support Munster Rugby as we share many brand values including top quality and performance. We are excited to showcase our plug-in hybrid and fully electric range and wish all the players, staff and supporters of Munster Rugby every good wish for the season ahead.

“As Ireland’s largest family motor group, we have the biggest selection of used cars through our franchise dealerships and Kearys Carstores, with outlets in Dublin, Cork and Limerick, that just opened during the Summer. We also have our online buying service, We Buy Cars, that is proving very popular with customers,” added Brendan Keary.

Speaking on behalf of Munster Rugby, Dave Kavanagh, Head of Commercial and Marketing said: “We are delighted to have the support of Kearys Motor Group as a commercial partner with such similar brand values, and we look forward to our continued relationship with them, as we strive to achieve our sustainability goals over the coming years.”
