New Pitch At Thomond Park

The Thomond Park pitch upgrade was completed over the summer with a new surface installed.
A hybrid pitch, similar to the Aviva Stadium, with reinforced turf technology is now in place at the Limerick venue.
The Munster squad trained on the new pitch last month with the first game taking place on Saturday night against the Vodacom Bulls (7.35pm, buy tickets here).
The previous pitch had been maintained for 14 years and was due to be upgraded on completion of last season.
