There are two vital home games coming up for Munster again this Saturday as the men’s and women’s teams are both in action.

The Munster Women host Leinster in their second game of the Vodafone Women’s Interpro Championship at Musgrave Park with a 12.15pm kick-off and the men host Northampton Saints at Thomond Park in the Champions Cup (3.15pm).

With the men’s and women’s squads both in action on the same day, the province did explore hosting a double-header at Thomond Park, however, timings did not align to broadcast schedules.

In consultation with the women’s squad, the optimal solution was to play their game at Musgrave Park with it televised on TG4.
