Munster won a 13-try thriller at a sold-out Musgrave Park on Friday night to make it five URC wins in a row with just three rounds of regular season action remaining.
The victory sees Munster stay in fifth place of the table and move four points ahead of Bulls, six points ahead of Sharks and stay seven points ahead of eighth-placed Connacht.
Munster twice led by 28 points but a talented Scarlets side made it an extremely tight finish after mounting a huge second-half comeback.
