Munster are back in action on Saturday evening for our second-last game of the URC regular season at DHL Stadium.

Reigning champions Stormers are second in the table and are targeting two home wins to complete the regular season and secure second place in the URC.

They face Munster this weekend and Benetton on Saturday week having racked up 19 straight wins at the DHL Stadium since their last defeat on home soil to Lions in December 2021.

Stormers record against Irish provinces this season is won one, drawn one, lost one.

Munster’s five-game winning run in the BKT United Rugby Championship ended with their 26-38 reversal at home to Glasgow Warriors in Round 16.

Graham Rowntree’s side have won their last three away games in the Championship, their best run on the road since February 2021.

Munster’s last eight encounters with South African opponents in the United Rugby Championship have all been won by the home side on the day.

The two sides have met just once before with Munster winning 34-18 at Thomond Park in October 2021.
