Stats | URC Season So Far
27th April 2023 By The Editor
Munster go into next week’s URC quarter-finals after a fine run of form that has lifted the province to fifth in the table ahead of Saturday week’s knock-out clash against Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun (7.35pm, live on RTÉ).
Eight wins and one draw in the final 11 games of the regular campaign secured a place-off place and guarantees Champions Cup rugby for next season.
A tough start to the season saw Munster win two of the opening seven games but Graham Rowntree’s side have been on a good run of form over the past six months to reach the play-offs.
Munster have the best defence in the URC with the least points conceded (357, less than 20 points per game) and the least tries conceded (47, 2.6 per game).
