Munster Rugby & Laya Healthcare Extend Partnership

Laya healthcare announced today it has committed to another two years as the official Health and Wellbeing partner to Munster Rugby.

Laya healthcare plans to continue its work with Munster Rugby on a strategic vision that supports the performance of the province by focusing on aspects of health and wellbeing across the men’s and women’s teams, the backroom team, right through to the fans.

Laya healthcare’s partnership with Munster Rugby underscores the company’s commitment to promoting health and wellness in the communities it serves. As part of the partnership, laya healthcare will provide support and resources to both men’s and women’s teams, including access to HeartBeat Cardiac screenings for players and backroom teams.

Laya healthcare’s official branding will appear on the men, women’s, under 20’s and A team’s matchday shorts, with the logo also appearing on the tackle bags and the arm of all medics and water boys for the men’s and women’s teams on match day.

Laya healthcare has already built strong links in the Munster region. With its head office in Cork and a Laya Health & Wellbeing Clinic in Caherdavin, Limerick. The Laya Health & Wellbeing Clinic in Limerick offers walk-in urgent care to everyone in the community. Patients as young as 12months can be seen and treated for minor injuries and illnesses within 60 minutes, and the clinic has diagnostic services on site including X-ray to make the healthcare experience faster and convenient. Laya healthcare members can exclusively access wellbeing services in the clinic including cardiac screening and healthcoach consultations.
