The URC trophy tour continues apace across the province with thousands of supporters, young and old, getting up close and personal with our new piece of silverware.

The first port of call, before even the homecoming at Thomond Park, saw Keith Earls visit Milford National School with the trophy.

Following the homecoming at Thomond Park, supporters had the opportunity to get their picture with the trophy at Musgrave Park

The trophy was in Cork and Limerick last week. Among other places, it was brought to St Joseph’s National School, Beaumont Girls School, Scoil Bhríde Eglantine, St Anthony’s Ballinlough, Gaelscoil na Dúglaise and the Munster Branch AGM at Highfield RFC.

It was then brought to Thomond Primary School, Monaleen NS and Milford Care Centre.

This week, it was at Bandonbridge, Scoil de Íde, Gaelscoil Sáirséal, Scoil Chríost Rí, Carrigtwohill CNS, Midleton Educate Together NS, Castlemartyr NS, Youghal RFC and Gaelscoil Choráin.

Next week, St Luke’s School, St Paul’s Special School, St Angela’s Girls School, Mungret St Nessan’s, Gaelscoil an Ráithín and St Paul’s NS are among the schools that the trophy will visit.

Clubs and schools can email trophytour@munsterrugby.ie to arrange a visit from the URC trophy.
