Munster Rugby recently confirmed three games for September as the Munster Men face Leinster at Musgrave Park on Friday, September 8, and the Munster Men and Women face the Barbarians in a double-header at Thomond Park on Saturday, September 30.

The Barbarians game will be a historic double-header for the province with the women’s and men’s squads facing respective invitational sides.

With the Munster Men last in action at Thomond Park in March, the double-header will be the first Munster matches at Thomond Park in over six months.

Munster v Barbarians (Double-Header) – Saturday, Sept 30

The Munster Women have played Barbarians once previously back in November 2017 in the first-ever women’s fixture for the Baa-Baas.

It will be the first-ever meeting between the Munster Men and the Barbarians.

A festival of rugby awaits in what will be a great family occasion for the Limerick venue.

The Munster Women, who have won the last two Interprovincial Championships, will get the action underway at 2pm while the men’s side will kick-off at 4.30pm.

Family ticket packs start from €40 for 2 Adults and 2 Juniors. Adult tickets are available from €20.
