The Munster men’s squad return to the HPC next week to begin their pre-season training programme ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

Two games have been confirmed for the Munster men in September as we face Leinster at Musgrave Park and host Barbarians in a historic double-header at Thomond Park.

There are a limited number of Leinster tickets remaining here with Barbarians double-header tickets available here.

The URC fixtures for next season were announced this week with full details here. Book the best seats in the house with a Season Ticket here.

The team had a seven-week off-season after a hectic 2022/23 campaign that ended with URC glory in South Africa.

New signing Seán O’Brien (centre) will link up with the squad for the start of the pre-season training programme after joining from Exeter Chiefs.

Patrick Campbell and Cian Hurley join the senior squad after graduating from the Munster Rugby Academy.

Tadhg Beirne, Craig Casey, Gavin Coombes, Jack Crowley, Keith Earls, Dave Kilcoyne, Conor Murray, Calvin Nash and Peter O’Mahony are in Ireland’s summer training squad ahead of the World Cup.

Jean Kleyn and RG Snyman are in the Springboks squad for the Rugby Championship with Kleyn making his South Africa debut last week against Australia as Snyman made his first international appearance since the 2019 World Cup final. Snyman has also been named in the South Africa squad for Saturday’s clash against the All Blacks in Auckland.

New Munster Academy and Pathway Manager Gearóid Prendergast joined the province this month with Academy members returning to the HPC last week to begin their preparations for the upcoming campaign.

Dylan Hicks, Shay McCarthy and Ben O’Connor are the new Academy additions at the HPC.

Fellow new additions Brian Gleeson and George Hadden are in South Africa with the Ireland U20s and preparing for Friday’s World Championship final against France along with Ruadhán Quinn and Evan O’Connell.
