There were 11 concerts at Musgrave Park and Thomond Park over the summer with over 180,000 attendees watching some fantastic live acts.

MCD hosted three Dermot Kennedy concerts at Thomond Park as he became the first artist or band to perform three consecutive shows at Thomond Park.

Dermot performed to approx. 90,000 people over the three nights with the concerts proving a resounding success, showcasing the iconic Thomond Park as a tremendous venue for major concerts.

Our thanks and appreciation to all involved with making this happen and especially to our local residents and neighbours for their cooperation and support.

MCD Productions held eight major concerts at Musgrave Park in Cork over the month of June with the events proving a huge success.

Florence & The Machine, George Ezra, Paolo Nutini, The 1975 and The Chemical Brothers were among the star acts that performed in Cork.

The capacity for Musgrave Park was set at 15,000 as more than 92,000 people attended over the eight nights.

The feedback from concert-goers, local residents and businesses was hugely positive with the events proving extremely popular.

As Musgrave Park is located in a residential area, the support of the local residents was imperative for the events to run smoothly and their co-operation throughout was much appreciated.

The modified 3G pitch was covered for the eight concerts with the stage installed at the Pearse Road end of the stadium.
