Check out the highlights, best pics and hear from Academy out-half Tony Butler as Munster were beaten by Leinster in the first pre-season game of 2023/24 at a sold-out Musgrave Park on Friday evening.
Scott Buckley and Ireland U19 international Stephen Kiely were the Munster try-scorers with Butler kicking a conversion but Leinster ran out 33-12 winners.
Kiely and Academy trio Kieran Ryan, Evan O’Connell and Shay McCarthy all made their first senior Munster appearances with Butler starting at out-half for the first time.
Andrew Conway and Jack Daly made their first appearances in over a year after missing last season due to injury.
