Munster Rugby have published our first Environmental Impact and Sustainability Report this week.

The report reviews our ongoing work in environmental sustainability and climate action. The report is crucial to state our commitments clearly, and is an honest appraisal of the things we have done to date. It outlines our carbon emissions, overall targets and action plan, and highlights our achievements and progress.

Sport both contributes to the climate emergency and is impacted by it. Achieving net zero with climate resilience, our ultimate goal, is one of the greatest challenges we have ever faced, and will require everyone associated with the club to band together to tackle it.

We stay true to our values of Community, Ambition, Integrity and Passion in our approach to this. Nurturing a close relationship with our dedicated supporters has always been a key priority. This connection now drives how Munster can make its greatest impact, striving together with our supporters and communities towards a safe and sustainable future. This interaction can deepen the supporter relationship and funnel that passion in new and interesting ways to bring about positive change.
