Connacht’s narrow defeat to Leinster at the Sportsground earlier this month ended a run of seven successive victories at the venue in the URC.
Munster’s last six fixtures in the BKT United Rugby Championship have been evenly split with three wins and three losses.
Connacht were beaten 20-19 by Ulster on December 22 with Munster losing 9-3 to Leinster four days later.
