Munster March v Crusaders

1st February 2024 By The Editor

Munster March v Crusaders

Munster Rugby and adidas are inviting supporters to participate in the Munster March this Saturday at 3.45pm ahead of our historic clash against the Crusaders at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

We want Munster supporters of all ages to walk from the Marina Market on Centre Park Road to Páirc Uí Chaoimh to help raise awareness of the club’s commitment to environmental sustainability and climate action.

Our aim is to halve our overall emissions by 2030 and achieve net zero by 2040 or as soon as possible.

A key focus of our strategy is to encourage supporters, where possible, to use more sustainable forms of transport – such as walking, cycling, carpooling and public transport, when travelling to our matches.

Small steps taken together can mean huge strides forward in the club’s collective ability to affect positive change.

We want as many Munster supporters as possible to march with us.

When and Where?

The Munster March will begin from the fanzone at the Marina Market at 3.45pm on Saturday, February 3rd.

The march will travel to nearby Páirc Uí Chaoimh for the match which kicks off at 5pm.

The Cork Buttery Exchange Band will be leading the march.

Munster’s commitment to environmental sustainability and climate action
