Munster made it eight URC wins in a row away to Edinburgh on Friday night after a pulsating encounter at Hive Stadium.

The bonus-point victory means Munster have taken 39 points from the last 40 available and move to the top of the URC table with one round remaining.

It is the first time since 2017 that we have won eight league games on the bounce and a huge final day encounter against Ulster at Thomond Park awaits on Saturday, June 1 (5.15pm).

A late Jack Crowley penalty won the Edinburgh clash for Munster with the out-half also kicking three conversions and scoring a try with Antoine Frisch touching down twice as Gavin Coombes scored the bonus-point try.

The victory has secured Munster a place in the top four and a home quarter-final on the weekend of June 8/9.
