The Munster squad have started preparations at the HPC ahead of Saturday’s URC semi-final against Glasgow Warriors at Thomond Park (6pm).

We have seen a huge demand for tickets in the past 24 hours with Adult tickets available from €25 & Junior tickets from €12.50 here.

On the injury front, there are no fresh concerns following Friday’s URC quarter-final win over Ospreys.

There is good news for Alex Nankivell ahead of the game as he is increasing his training load. A decision on his availability will be made later in the week.

Joey Carbery is going for surgery today after sustaining a thumb injury against Ulster.

Tom Ahern will see a specialist with a view to surgery on an ankle injury sustained in the same game.

Along with the 23 players who featured against Ospreys at Thomond Park on Friday night, there were 17 senior and Academy players in action during the Munster A v Ireland U20s clash at UL.

Brian Gleeson, Evan O’Connell and Ben O’Connor lined out for the Ireland U20s with Gleeson and O’Connor both touching down.

The Munster A side, who won 21-17, featured the following senior and Academy players: Scott Buckley, Liam Coombes, Jack Daly, Cian Hurley, Max Clein, Mark Donnelly, Ronan Foxe, Fionn Gibbons, George Hadden, Dylan Hicks, Shay McCarthy, Jack Oliver, Ruadhán Quinn and Kieran Ryan.

Munster tries came from Quinn, Gordon Wood and McCarthy with Hicks kicking three conversions.
