Ticket And Match Day Info | Munster v Connacht

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Thomond Park for our first URC fixture of the 24/25 Season.

We will be taking on Connacht in what is set to be a fantastic interprovincial derby, with kick-off at 5.30pm.

Tickets

Tickets are available to purchase here

Adults from €20, Juniors from €10 & Family Packs (2 adults & 2 kids) €40.

The Ticket Office in the East Stand of Thomond Park will be open for queries on matchday from 3pm.

Gates will open at 4:00pm to facilitate access to the stadium.

Safetix, which was implemented last season continues to provide a user-friendly, time efficient and safe, mobile ticketing experience for all.

Your Phone Is Your Ticket (Tap & go)

  1. Sign into your Munster Rugby Account. (iPhone users will need to access account using Safari browser)
  2. Tap into ‘My Events’ to view your order.
  3. Add your ticket to your phone’s digital wallet, then just tap and go to get in at the gate.
    Tap and go is now available with Apple Wallet & Google Wallet.
  4. Please ensure the brightness is turned up on your phone.

Please note: screenshots of mobile tickets are no longer valid, therefore, cannot be accepted for entry to the stadium.

Don’t have a smartphone? You can still print your tickets from your Munster ticket account.

Heading to the game with friends or family?

Now’s the time to transfer tickets to allow everyone ease of access at the gates.

Fanzone

We will have activities to test your skills in the fan zone from 4pm and our mascot Oscar is looking forward to meeting our younger supporters too.

Some of our players will make an appearance in the fan zone also from 4.30pm – 5.00pm

The Guinness Dug Out Bar in the Fan zone is a great pre-match meeting point and you can soak up the atmosphere here.

The Guinness Dug Out Bar opens from 3:30pm.

The Guinness Clubhouse Bar at the West Stand will also open from 3:30pm.

The LifeStyle Sports stores will be open at the stadium, and you have a choice of 2 locations: the main store in the East Stand and the mobile unit at the West Stand.

Welcome Committee

Keep an eye out for our welcome committee around the grounds. They will be wearing bright yellow jackets and will be there to be a friendly face on arrival and assist with any questions you have.

Bars and Food Concessions

Public bars and food & beverage outlets will be open in the concourses within the stadium from gates open.

Reusable Cups

We are delighted to announce that we will continue to trial our reusable cups on Saturday game in the West Stand and terrace Concourse Bars including the MRSC & 10YR Ticket Holders Bars in the West Stand.

This trial is limited to these areas on this occasion due to the restricted volume of available reuseable cups.

Flags

Munster Rugby Supporter Club members will distribute flags in advance of the game.

Match programmes

Match programmes will be available for sale on the approach to the stadium turnstiles and also inside the stadium.  Programmes are €5.

Entertainment

We are delighted to welcome Sarah Dolan to Thomond Park on Saturday to perform Stand Up and Fight before kick-off and the MRSC Guard of Honour will be present to welcome teams onto the pitch.

Get into your seats early as we will also have a player joining our MC Ken pitch side for a pre match interview just after 4.45pm!

At half-time, we will welcome Bank of Ireland mini rugby teams from Kilfeacle & District RFC vs. Killorglin RFC.

And we are also giving away flights to LIVERPOOL with thanks to our friends at FlyShannon.ie. All you have to do is upload your selfies to our selfie wall using the onscreen hashtags #MunsterSelfie

Travel

Park & Ride

Hynan Travel will operate a Park and Ride Service from the Radisson Hotel on Saturday September 21st, 2024 at 3pm.

Buses

The 302-bus service from Henry Street runs every 20 minutes and has a drop off at Thomond Park. Full bus service details see www.buseireann.ie.

Stadium Exit at end of game

At the end of the game, please exit the stadium via the same doorway that you used for entry. We ask that all supporters, take their time follow the directions of the stewards when departing the stadium.
