Pinergy Confirmed As Presenting Partner For Munster v All Blacks XV

Pinergy, proud official energy partner of Munster Rugby, is calling on all fans to bring the energy as Munster prepare to face a formidable All Blacks XV in a historic clash on Saturday, November 2nd, at 5:30pm.

The game will be exclusively live-streamed through Munster Rugby’s Access Munster online platform.

The All Blacks XV boasting a squad brimming with talent including ten capped All Blacks, promises a thrilling contest. Players like Finlay Christie, Quinn Tupaea and Hoskins Sotutu bring senior All-Black international experience, ensuring a captivating spectacle and an exhibition of flowing rugby for fans. This sold-out fixture marks a significant occasion for Munster Rugby, offering a unique opportunity for fans to witness their team take on a touring side packed with world-class talent.

Saturday week’s game will see Munster Rugby aim to secure another historic win over a Southern Hemisphere team, after facing up against a Super Rugby side, 2023 Champions Crusaders last season. The unique match was held at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh in front of a sell-out 40,885 attendance and saw Munster Rugby edge out the Christchurch outfit. This historic win followed Munster’s iconic victory over South Africa XV in 2022, a fixture that saw a rugby game held in the iconic Supervalu Páirc Uí Chaoimh venue for the first time. Attention now turns to this season’s clash with two sides set to add even more anticipation and excitement to what is already teeing up to be a thrilling fixture.

To commemorate this special event, Pinergy, in collaboration with fellow Munster Rugby partner Keanes Jewellers, has commissioned a unique trophy to be presented to the winning captain. Pinergy will also present the Player of the Match award.

Munster, renowned for their passionate support and thrilling performances, will aim to secure a memorable victory against this formidable All Blacks XV. This match promises to be a captivating display of rugby prowess and a testament to the enduring spirit of the sport.

Enda Gunnell, CEO of Pinergy: “At Pinergy, we are very excited and looking forward to this game between two formidable teams both of long-standing histories in the story of rugby. The energy both on and off the pitch is set to be immense as the sold-out fixture demonstrates the excitement and significance of the clash. As we continue our proud support of Munster Rugby, we are delighted to support this game and encourage all fans to get behind the occasion and turn Thomond Park red. Let’s hope it’s another famous victory for Munster!”

Ian Flanagan, CEO of Munster Rugby: “We are delighted to finally have this highly-anticipated fixture upon us. We know the power and atmosphere that Munster supporters bring to these big occasions and the huge boost it provides to players and management. We are really looking forward to welcoming fans from all over Ireland and further afield to Thomond Park. We are excited to see and hear the Red Army taking over the stadium once again.”

Pinergy’s ongoing energy partnership with Munster Rugby underscores their commitment to the sustainable future of the sport. As the Official Energy Partner, Pinergy provides renewable energy to Thomond Park and Virgin Media Park, assisting Munster Rugby with EV charging needs, as well as optimising energy consumption through Acutrace energy measurement platform. Their 10-year Solar Energy partnership which sees a 256 kWp Solar PV installation in Virgin Media Park, initiated in 2021, supports Munster Rugby’s ambition to become a leading sustainable brand in world rugby
