13 Munster Players In AIL Action

Gordon Wood was in action for Garryowen at the weekend.
There were 13 Munster senior and Academy players in Energia All Ireland League action for their clubs at the weekend.
In Division 1A, Scott Buckley and Danny Sheahan helped Cork Constitution secure a draw at home against St Mary’s College at Temple Hill.
Brian Gleeson was a try-scorer for Garryowen in their 42-26 defeat away to Terenure College with Jack Oliver, George Hadden, Dylan Hicks and Gordon Wood also in action for the Limerick club.
Jake O’Riordan and Evan O’Connell both started for Young Munster in their 31-24 loss to City of Armagh at Tom Clifford Park with O’Riordan sprinting 50 metres for a superb individual try.
In Division 1B, Ben O’Connor, Gene O’Leary Kareem and Seán Edogbo started for UCC in their 25-20 victory over Dublin University at the Mardyke.
Eoghan Clarke was among the tries for Shannon at Thomond Park as a very impressive Nenagh Ormond side ran out 42-15 winners.
