Team News | Munster A Side To Face Ulster A

The Munster A side has been named for Friday’s Interpro clash against Ulster A at Shaw’s Bridge in Belfast on Friday (3pm).

A mixture of senior, Academy and club players have been selected in the 25-man squad.

Senior players Bryan Fitzgerald, Tony Butler, Scott Buckley, Conor Bartley and captain Jack Daly are all named in the starting XV.

Academy players Dylan Hicks, Shay McCarthy, Gene O’Leary Kareem, Jack Oliver, George Hadden, Michael Foy and Seán Edogbo all start with Danny Sheahan, Kieran Ryan and Jake O’Riordan among the replacements.

Hicks, McCarthy and Young Munster’s Hubert Gilvarry start in the back three.

Fitzgerald and O’Leary Kareem form the centre partnership with Oliver and Butler in the half-backs.

Hadden, Buckley and Bartley pack down in the front row with Highfield’s Conor Kennelly and Foy in the engine room.

Old Crescent’s Jonathan Byrne, Daly and Edogbo complete the starting XV.

Club players Christian Foley (Young Munster), Fionn O’Meara (Nenagh Ormond), Des Fitzgerald (Garryowen), Bobby Doherty (Clonmel), Tom Wood (Garryowen), Harry Murphy (UCC) and Jed O’Dwyer (Old Crescent) are included among the replacements.
