Six Munster Players In Irish Squad To Face Romania

Ireland coach Eddie O’Sullivan has named six Munster players in the Ireland squad for the Sept 7th international against Romania at Thomond Park.

Ireland coach Eddie O’Sullivan has named six Munster players in the Ireland squad for the Sept 7th international against Romania at Thomond Park. John Kelly, Rob Henderson, Ronan O’Gara and Peter Stringer are named in the backline with John Hayes and Anthony Foley nominated among the forwards. Frank Sheahan and Alan Quinlan have failed to find favour with the Irish coach while the opportunity to give Mick O’Driscoll an opportunity at this level has been resisted

The Ireland team will be announced at 12 noon approx. on Tuesday next, September 3 following squad training.

Terrace tickets, priced €;18, are on public sale. They can be purchased on-line through our RUGBY STORE and collected from the IRFU offices at Lansdowne Road. Terrace tickets may also be purchased at the Munster Branch offices at Thomond Park and Musgrave Park (Monday to Friday) or usual Cork and Limerick outlets. Stand tickets are sold out.
