Dominic Crotty – Player Profile

Dominic Crotty made his debut for Munster in December 1995 in the Interpro game against the Exiles in Cork, by which time he had already represented Ireland at University, Student & Under 21 level.

Dominic Crotty made his debut for Munster in December 1995 in the Interpro game against the Exiles in Cork, (Munster won 20-14) by which time he had already represented Ireland at University, Student & Under 21 level.

Following on from his Munster debut he won his first A cap against South Africa, relegating Conor O’Shea to the wing position and a week later made his senior international debut playing against Australia in Lansdowne Road, an Ireland side led by Keith Wood. Further caps followed against Italy and France as Crotty by now had established himself asa regular in Declan Kidney’s Munster side.

He was full-back on the Munstert team beaten in the 2000 Heineken Cup final and has won over 85 caps for Munster.
