Rob Henderson Celebrated his 31st birthday last Monday recuperating from injury, something like the story of a professional rugby career that has seen him reach the very top.

Rob Henderson Celebrated his 31st birthday last Monday recuperating from injury, something like the story of a professional rugby career that has seen him reach the very top.

That rise culminated with a regular spot on the Lions in Australia in 2001 a tour that marked him down as one of the world’s foremost centres. Unfortunately it also marked a period that saw him dogged by injury, injury that continued in one shape or form to deny him a place in Ireland’s 2003 RWC squad.
