Sheahan Withdrawn from Munster Team

Munster Hooker Frankie Sheahan has been withdrawn from the Munster team to face Treviso on Saturday. Sheahan was withdrawn as a precautionary measure due to a knee injury & is replaced by James Blaney
Munster Hooker Frankie Sheahan has been withdrawn from the Munster team to face Treviso in Italy on Saturday. Sheahan was withdrawn as a precautionary measure due to a knee injury and is replaced by James Blaney.
Frank Roche comes onto the replacements bench in place of Blaney.
The decision to withdraw Sheahan was taken today in trviso following the customery afternoon training session.
Sheahan was having trouble with a knee injury and although it isn’t deemed to be too serious, coach Alan Gaffney said that it would not be in ther interest of the player or indeed the team itself for Frankie to play on Saturday.
