AIB League – Home Wins The Order Of The Day

Of the fifteen games played in the AIB League over the past weekend, twelve resulted in home wins, there was one draw and just 2 sides, UCD in Division One and Waterpark in Div 2 lost.

Of the fifteen games played in the AIB League over the past weekend, twelve resulted in home wins, there was one draw (Terenure v Dolphin) and just 2 sides, UCD in Division One and Waterpark in Division 2 failed to reap the benefit of home advantage.

The highest score posted was the 76 points scored by Greystones in their Division Three game with Banbridge at Dr. Hickey Park while Belast Harlequins scored 68 points against Galwegians in Belfast where centre WP Strauss scored 33 points courtesy of three tries and nine conversions.

With UCD going down at home to Bayllymena a five point gap has opened between the top four and the chasing pack.

Cork Constitution are eleven points off the leaders after their seven try victory over Co Carlow, a win that saw the return to action of John Kelly who was joined in the Con side by fellow Munster squad members, Tom Bowman, David Pusey and Jim Williams.
