Munster hooker Jerry Flannery goes into a Dublin hospital this morning for shoulder surgery that will rule him out of action for a number of months. While its not known exactly how long he will be out of action he will certainly miss Munster’s opening Heineken Cup games and the November internationals.
Meanwhile Frank Murphy made his Leicester Tigers debut last night in his new side’s 29-28 defeat to Castres in Millau at the start of Tigers two match French tour. Leicester who play Munster on Friday August 25th at Musgrave Park, take on Stade Francais in Camares tomorrow.
